helping the NHS staff

Helping our NHS Heroes

We all know that COVID-19 has changed our lives and affected us all and shown just how great our NHS workers are. Plus other key members of our society.

In fact, there have been many great stories of how people have helped each, while this has made us more apart in some ways it has brought us all closer together which is great to see.

I have always had appreciated the efforts of the NHS staff, I have seen first hand how much work my own mother does.

I also realised how much all this is going to put onto their mental health both now and in the future. They are making huge sacrifices to keep us safe, including spending time away from their own families.

I never reveal any of the sites on here, but I have been running Camping Sites in Britain since 2009 so decided to use the site to help.

Easter is traditionally the start of the camping season and while we can’t visit camping sites this year, I decided to run organise a virtual camp and help raise money for the NHS.

The Big Camp Out is simply camping in your back garden.

There is going to be a camping quiz, as well as other activities across the weekend.

Let’s not forget when all this is over and it will be at some point, that the mental health is going to need looking after.
